Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is an evidence-based medical approach to preventing and treating chronic conditions through individually designed nutrition plans.

The ongoing process of providing treatment, knowledge, skills and training needed to improve and maintain appropriate glucose control. This management approach is patient centered and individualized to eliminate and/or minimize diabetic complications while maximizing quality of life.
